These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through TSUNAGU (https://kimonostudio.net/). TSUNAGU is operated by Yoriko Kuragaki in Fukuoka, Japan.
Products and One-of-a-Kind Materials
TSUNAGU creates and sells garments and other items using vintage kimono and other Japanese textiles. Vintage materials are one of a kind and may show age-related marks, small stains, fading, weaving irregularities, or other traces of their history. These characteristics are not treated as defects unless otherwise stated.
Availability of Vintage Fabric
Each selectable vintage kimono or fabric is available only while stock remains. Materials reserved for TSUNAGU production may be removed from other sales channels. If a selected material becomes unavailable before an order is finalized, TSUNAGU will contact you and offer an alternative material or a refund.
Prices and Payment
Product prices and available payment methods are displayed on the product page or at checkout. Shipping charges, taxes, or other amounts collected at checkout are shown before the order is completed.
Shipping, Duties & Taxes
Orders ship from Japan. Ready-to-ship orders are normally dispatched within 3–7 business days after order confirmation unless a different production period is stated for a made-to-order item.
International shipping is generally JPY 3,000 per item, with the final amount shown at checkout.
United States: TSUNAGU covers customs duties and customs-clearance fees. State or local sales/use taxes and other charges not classified as customs duties or clearance fees are excluded unless expressly stated at checkout.
Other destinations: Orders are generally shipped DAP. Import duties, VAT/GST, customs-clearance fees and other import-related charges are the recipient's responsibility unless collected at checkout as required by law.
Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations
Because many TSUNAGU products use one-of-a-kind vintage materials or are made to order, return, exchange, and cancellation conditions may differ by product. Applicable conditions will be shown on the product page or otherwise provided before the order is finalized.
If an item arrives damaged, materially different from the order, or incorrect due to our error, please contact us promptly after delivery so we can review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy.
Custom and Made-to-Order Items
Production time, specifications, selectable materials, and cancellation terms for custom or made-to-order products will be provided before the order is finalized. Once production has begun, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, text, photographs, graphics, product designs, and other original content on this website may not be reproduced or commercially used without permission. Rights in third-party materials, trademarks, and other protected works remain with their respective rights holders where applicable.
Limitation of Liability
TSUNAGU is not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures, local carriers, weather, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement will be handled in accordance with applicable Japanese law and jurisdiction.
